Project Manager required Springfield near Brisbane in South East Queensland

Client is a successful and established Queensland Builder having worked in this area for almost 20 years. The company has considerable experience in all aspects of building, refurbishment and construction including civils. Following a brief period of consolidation the company is looking to recruit an experienced project manager.

The client is looking for a motivated self-starter with an ability to manage all aspects of small to mid-sized construction projects (upto circa $11 Million). This includes managing sub-contractors, labour, liaison with Local Authority departments, architects, engineers, clients etc and is usually suited to candidates that have progressed from the tools through foreman and site supervisor roles.

Upcoming projects include school projects through the stimulus package and a large number of civil projects. Experience of these projects would be an advantage.

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have:-
• Experience managing all aspects of build and civil projects
• Relevant qualifications / trade background
• Budget/cost control, including understanding of contract administration
• Experience of mentoring ????? ????? of staff
• Open approach to innovative build
• People skills, ability to represent the company to high profile clients
