The Referral for Active Intervention (RAI) Services is an early intervention and prevention intensive family support service for families with children aged 0-10 who are known to the Child Safety Services under the Department of Communities. Its primary purpose is to improve the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children. Mission Australia provides this service in three Queensland locations - Inala/Goodna, Caboolture/Deception Bay and Ipswich.
Due to a growing impetus in the community, we are meeting those needs by expanding our team. Joining the Ipswich team, which operate under an “open door policy” to the Service Manager, along with a supportive team environment, this is a great opportunity to bring ????? ????? to a team that will appreciate it!
Utilising your passion to make a difference along with your superior experience in supporting families with high and complex needs, your role will be to promote sustainable change in family circumstances and functioning, resulting in a reduction in contact with the statutory child protection system.
With your qualifications and/or relevant industry experience, along with your ability to plan, implement, facilitate and monitor family intervention activities you will excel in the role. An understanding of Child Protection legislation and child protective concerns, along with computer skills for data maintenance, is essential.
