Market-leading company With a newly created role High Profile Position With Responsibilty, Visibility & Opportunity Must Have Solid BA Skills Honed in a SDLC environment Please note I am looking for applications from candidates who have a strong track record as a Business Analyst and have a development background and who have written a CV that is clear and easy to read. My client is a market-leader who continue to go from strength to strength in their industry. Continued growth throughout 2009 means that they are now looking to recruit a Business Analyst/Project Leader to join their software development function. I am looking for applications from candidates with a minimum of 5 years commercial (at least 3 as a BA) IT experience. The role will be a blend of Business Analysis and Project Leading. From a leadership perspective you will be responsible for allocating work & providing project leadership/ guidance to more Junior colleagues (Developers). You will typically be working on 3 or 4 projects concurrently, these may range from simple bug fixes etc that will be a week in length through to bigger projects lasting 6m or more. From a Business Analysis perspective you will work closely with the Seniors in your team and work closely with a range of internal stakeholders (Account Directors, Consultants etc)to gain & elicit their technical requirements. All the software solutions you provide will be FMCG centric so a background in FMCG is highly desirable. You will need to engage with stakeholders, understand what their goals are, what they are trying to deliver etc and manage the scope, explain the potential risks & implications etc from a software perspective. To do this you will need to have been a Business Analyst on software projects for at least 3 years, be a true full lifecycle (SDLC) practitioner & have a track record of working on successful implementations. You will need to be able to translate business requirements into technical and ensure that what the is delivered matches expectations. .Net project experience would be highly desirable as would experience with RDBMS/Datawarehouse projects (T-SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS). Candidates without an FMCG background will be considered - but they must have a development/programming background The successful applicant will need to have good leadership skills, be a self-starter & be comfortable being a role model to more Junior staff. From a BA perspective first class communication skills are essential. Any experience with Agile development environment would be useful but is not essential. Strong RDBMS/Dataw skills well regarded. This is a fast-paced environment with constant change and whilst some process/structure is important candidates used to a highly structured/process driven environment may get frustrated here. In essence I am looking for a balanced candidate, someone technical, someone business focused, someone who can lead but also execute others direction/instruction etc. This role would suit a candidate looking for a position with variety & a number of different focuses. This is a high profile role, offering ????? ????? within this business - success in the position will be recognised & rewarded & you will be working in a role where you can see clearly your contribution to the business. Whilst working as part of comparatively small business you will have the security of working for a global giant & be working for a range of blue-chip clients in a highly robust industry sector (FMCG) - with my client continuing to enjoy good growth then this role will also grow in terms of size, scope, orientation & responsibility/reward. If you are an ambitious & talented BA with good leadership skills looking to make your mark with one of Australia's best companies then look no further, please apply with an up to date CV (Word Format) or call ????? ????? (??) ???? ???? for a confidential discussion.
