Our client is a leading provider of engineering ????? ????? consulting services throughout Australia and Internationally.  Due to continued company growth in Melbourne and involvement in industry leading projects there is an immediate need for an Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join their Melbourne team.

As an Environmental Scientist/Engineer you will be joining their established and successful environmental team, where you will provide environmental consulting services to our clients broad range of clients within private industry, government, councils and property developers. Your role will be varied and challenging and include but not be limited to;

• Conducting environmental assessments
• Provide accurate explanation of assessment results and successive recommendations
• Maintain an up to date knowledge base of legislative acts, regulations and current standards
• Perform groundwater investigation & assessments

You will be Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Hyrdogeology or similar with 2-3 years industry experience. Post Graduate qualifications would be highly desirable along with experience working in an environmental consulting environment with particular emphasis on contaminated land and groundwater. It is ESSENTIAL that you have local Australian expereince, preferably in Victoria. 

You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be a hands on person who is capable of working autonomously and able to effectively work and thrive within a team environment.
