My client is a successful transport company based in Melbourne that specializes in container logistics to the import and export market.  They believe that service is the key to success and have built their company around that philosophy, by striving to exceed service levels for their loyal client base.
 
Due to continual growth they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to assist with the growth and development of their key market.  To be successful in this role it is essential that you possess a strong knowledge of the container transport industry and the key players within as this is a new business focused role and you will be required to leverage off your existing contact base to sell the companies services and utilize their existing equipment.  You will also work closely with company directors to implement sales strategies to target new markets and identify potential new clients.
 
As this is a new role within the company, there is a huge opportunity for growth and the chance to actively contribute to the continued success of this small but highly reputable business.
 
On offer is a highly competitive salary package that will commensurate with experience and will include base salary, company vehicle or vehicle allowance and superannuation.  Commissions and bonus structure will be in addition to this and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
