This is a progressive National Importer & Distributor of specialised products that is going from strength to strength in a changing market place. They have an amazing corporate office located in the heart of busy Richmond. We seek a customer focused Imports administrator to continue the success of the business.
Acting as the Imports Administrator you will take a hands on approach being responsible for the process of placing purchase order, expediting, receipting and following them though to delivery to customer. This includes liaising with the sales team, freight forwarders, customs and customers alike. You will see that you offer top notch customer service and personally advise on any issues such as out of stock or delays to the sales team and valued customer. Also involved are the responsibility of stock takes, reporting and general support duties to the sales team.
The Person:
• Previous experience in import related business
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to time manage
• Prior experience in processing purchase/sales orders in an administration based role
This position will start immediately and will offer a secure and stable work environment in a great location and could offer a further career as team leader or in other areas of the business. A salary package will be offered based on your level of experience.
