Supply Chain / Project Manager

    This company has achieved significant success and secured high end clients. From concept and design to material sourcing, costing and managing global manufacturing, adhering ????? ????? standards and organising delivery, this business project manages it all in-house.

    The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for project deliverables, accurate costing/budgets, and supplier performance. Working to achieve these outcomes, the role is supported to by a dedicated team in Sourcing, Production and Quality Control.

    Multiple Projects, Multiple Time lines
    No project will be the same. Each will have unique characteristics, materials, suppliers and may be delivered into 3rd party countries.

    All will draw on your superior organisational, logistics, quality & production knowledge. You will communicate internally with sales on costing for new projects, feasibility, new supplier sourcing and time lines on projects. You will be a central resource, drawing on your years of experience, ensuring ????? ????? team gets results.

    What the role requires: 
    - A seasoned professional with experience in dealing with overseas manufacturing (Predominately in China) of consumer products ( i.e: Toys, home wares, accessories, clothing, promotional material, FMCG packaging, printing, cosmetics) 
    - Knowledge of Quality Standards both Australian and Internationally 
    - A keen understanding of supply chain issues in sourcing internationally 
    - Ability to lead a team and mentor staff development 
    - Highly organised and results driven individual that is committed to their role 
    - Articulate and able to communicate internally with all departments 
    - Sound numerical skills to cost and budget accurately for projects 
    - A thirst for innovation and finding solutions for products

    Due to the global nature of the role, the role requires a person that can work outside of normal hours dealing with overseas suppliers, international logistics and the tight deadlines associated with project work. Some overseas travel will be required from time to time.
