    Clare Holland House is the main hospice serving the ACT and the region. Its location in a visible and commanding position at the eastern end of Lake Burley Griffin reflects its role as a premier facility serving all Canberrans.

    Clare Holland House is managed by Calvary Health Care ACT under a contract with ACT Health. Recurrent funding for Clare Holland House is provided the ACT Government. Clare Holland House provides high quality, skilled and compassionate palliative care to patients with an advancing illness who are no longer responding to curative treatment.
     
    About the Opportunity
       
    Calvary Health Care ACT has an opportunity for a compassionate and experienced full time Staff Specialist to join their dedicated Clare Holland House Palliative Care team.

    Reporting to the Director of Palliative Care, the primary aim of this role will be to take a strong leadership role within the Palliative Care team, and implement effective management practices that continue to develop relevant programs towards meeting Calvary Health Care ACT's philosophy and planning.

    To be considered for this position it is essential that you possess a relevant medical degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the ACT Medical Board. FAChPM membership or equivalent is also required, while post graduate qualifications in palliative care are desirable.
