Ambulance Victoria currently has two vacancies within Clinic Transport Services for Clinic Transport Officers on a Permanent basis. One is located in the northern suburbs and one in the western suburbs.
Clinic Transport Officers provide care and transport to non-emergency patients between home and medical facilities. The primary objective of this role is to provide effective and efficient service in transport of pre and post hospital walking and wheelchair patients.
Applicants must hold a current Victorian Driver Licence. Applicants are required to provide a National Police check, Verification of Driving History Report and appropriate documentation demonstrating they have successfully completed the Victorian Certificate III in Non-Emergency Client Transport / Ambulance Attendant or hold an Ambulance qualification recognised by Ambulance Victoria.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a medical/physical assessment to ensure they meet AV requirements.
Hours of duty are 40 hours per week to be made up of four (4) ten (10) hour shifts between Monday to Friday with 1 day off per week on a day to be determined by the Manager Clinic Transport Services OR five (5) eight (8) hour shifts between Monday to Friday.
