With a strong presence in the Victorian Engineering ????? ?????, and close relationships with groups throughout Australia, this civil and structural engineering ????? ????? design and project management services to a range of clients within the private and public sector. They are renowned for working on medium scale commercial, institutional, residential and industrial building and land development projects.
They are seeking interest from Senior Structural Design Engineers with the ambition to develop their career into a key managerial position. Initially employed as a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be promoted to the position of Company Director after a "settling in" period.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive structural design engineering
- The project management of various commercial, residential, institutional and retail building projects
- The coordination and mentoring ????? ????? staff
- The management and further development of business relationships
- Representing the company both on site and with clients
- Design checking
- Strategic planning for the further development of the company
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A recognised Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Circa 8 years + experience working as a structural engineer within a consulting environment
- Extensive experience in the design and analysis of institutional, commercial and residential buildings
- Prior experience in managing projects from conception to completion
- A comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Codes relating to timber, concrete, steel and masonry
- The ambition to take on a key managerial position
While not essential, CPEng and/or RBP status will be highly regarded.
This is a key role in both the short-term and long term for this consultancy. As such it is critical that they employ the right person.
In order to attract interest from suitable candidates, a salary of up to $130,000 per annum is on offer. In addition to your annual salary, you will eligible for performance bonuses as well as shareholding.
