An immediate opportunity has arisen for a senior structural drafter to join a highly regarded and successful engineering ????? ?????.
Established for over 20 years, this consultancy has been responsible for providing civil and structural engineering ????? ????? some of the world’s most high profile building developments. Typical projects include luxury hotels, large-scale shopping centres, architecturally design high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
Their Melbourne office is currently seeking an additional structural drafter to join their established structural group.
Working within a team of experienced engineers and drafters, you will report directly to the Structural Director. You will be responsible for completing working drawings, plans and structural designs for a range of both local and international buildings. You will also be responsible for liaising with contractors and architects, coordinating junior drafters and conducting site inspections.
As the ideal applicant you will have extensive experience utilising AutoCAD to draft steel and concrete members on a range of building projects. A good knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards and good communication skills are also critical.

This is an immediately available contract position for an initial period of three months. Due to a secure workload, it is likely that a contract extension will be offered.
