This recently established private consultancy firm already boasts an impressive portfolio of work across Victoria, spanning strategic planning, urban design and economic development projects for a range of public and private sector clients. They are now seeking an additional Strategic Planner to join their current team of 5 consultants involved in a range of assignments including activity centre structure planning, demographic, retail and economic analysis and modeling.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Recognised qualification in planning, economics and/or urban design
• Significant post graduate experience working within Victorias planning sector, with particular advantage being given to those with private consultancy experience
• Broad understanding of the Victorian planning scheme and planning provisions
• An acute awareness of issues currently impacting on town planning and urban design
• Highly tuned numeracy and analytical skills
• Proficiency in the use of Excel and Access
• Experience in the use of CorelDraw and MapInfo highly advantageous
