Finance/Fleet Consultant

Southgate is a leading provider of fleet management, finance solutions and salary packaging services to the public and private sector; including hospitals, schools, aged care facilities, religious agencies and not-for-profit organisations. Our finance division primarily deals in motor vehicle and asset finance for individuals and organisations.

We require a university graduate to join our team as a junior Finance/Fleet Consultant. We will provide on-the-job training and development, as well as access to industry-recognised accreditations. Upon achieving training milestones, instant recognition and opportunities for promotion exist.

Core responsibilities include identifying customer vehicle and finance needs, preparation of quotations, assisting credit assessments, preparation of finance documents and processing finance arrangements from quotation to approval to settlement. You will be dealing with an established client base and prospective inbound customer enquiries.

You must possess strong written and phone communication skills and demonstrate a diligent attitude towards procedure compliance and ethical sales practices. A genuine interest in customer service and sales is essential and a strong willingness to learn must be demonstrated.

Qualifications:

Tertiary degree in finance or business-related field (i.e. Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing)

Full training will be provided including: core principles of the fleet management and finance industries, finance and insurance products, UCCC and privacy compliance, credit guidelines, sales techniques, understanding customer needs and recognising accounting implications of various finance arrangements.
