Our client has been providing active Australian’s with world-class Sports Medicine Care since 1987. The company operates from two practices –Olympic Park (the hub of Melbourne’s sporting precinct) and East Melbourne (one of Melbourne’s most prestigious medical precincts).

The clinic requires an experienced Medical Receptionist to support the busy reception/administrative team on the front desk. Be the smiling face that greets both high-profile athletes and the general sports person.

The role is permanent part time, 25++ hours per week, working on a fortnightly roster system. The clinic operates Monday-Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm, Fridays 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Meeting and greeting patients/clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Timely answering ????? ????? and handling general enquiries
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Preparing ????? ????? patient accounts including accepting payments
• Filing, scanning, photocopying
• Organisation of pathology couriers
• Scheduling appointments for specialists

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

• Previous experience working within a similar environment (medical)
• High-level computer literacy
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work within a large team environment and liaise with people on all levels
• Excellent presentation skills
• Professional telephone manner
• A knowledge of VIP software would be highly advantageous
