This is a great 3 - 6 month temp contract with a progressive Richmond-based organisation as a key player in their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Accounts Payable professional to make this role your own. Leaders in their field, they provide infrastructure for essential business communication services and are owned by one of Australia’s leading telecommunications networks.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Accounts Payable professional who has significant corporate experience and the ability to maintain accurate and timely management of a busy ledger.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Creation & maintenance of Vendor details
- Generate Purchase Orders
- Receipt & entry of all invoices payable
- Obtain authorisations for payments
- Process weekly payment runs
- Process all statutory obligations
- Complete reconciliations and relevant reporting
- Handle internal and vendor enquiries
Operating within a dynamic team of professionals, you will be a driven and motivated team-player who thrives under pressure and displays well developed commercial awareness. You will have experience in a similar position and an interest in developing and improving systems and processes.
Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills are essential for this role.
This is a 3 to 6 month contract position commencing immediately, with possibility of extension or permanency.
