Telephone Sales - Special Features - 12 months term
Illawarra Newspapers Pty. Ltd, publisher of the Illawarra Mercury and Wollongong Advertiser, is seeking an energetic and experienced full-time Telephone Sales person to work within the Advertising department of The Illawarra Mercury.
Reporting to the Classified and Features Sales Manager, the successful applicants will have a proven ability to work within a team with the primary responsibility of selling advertising features to new clients.
The successful applicants will liaise with staff and clients at all levels and demonstrate an ability to provide a high level of customer service that meets client’s needs.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated skills in outbound phone selling with a pleasant telephone manner
- Proven ability to meet sales targets
- The capability to prioritise work and meet multiple deadlines
- Established effective time management skills with the ability to work with minimum supervision
