Environmental/Sustainability Business Unit Leader - $150k plus super

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join the Sydney Management team as a Business Unit Leader (BUL) for the Environmental Management Services/Sustainability. You will play a key role working closely with the line managers and technical leaders to deliver sustainable business growth, improve staff satisfaction, meet financial targets and coordinate resources across the Environmental/Sustainability related businesses in the Sydney region.

This challenging, strategic and dynamic role will require you to support, lead and mentor the managers and environmental groups and liaise with the related business leaders to support strategic initiatives related to bids, projects, alliances, products and technical excellence.

You will need experience in the following:

• Environmental reporting and auditing
• Management Systems, training and awareness
• ISO 14001 certification audits
• Environmental risk identification/impact assessments audits
• NGERS - carbon foot printing and offsetting
• Due diligence and compliance auditing

You must have strong commercial skills and business acumen, excellent leadership skills and an understanding of corporate risk management issues. You will be able to develop and implement business plans, expand and strengthen the customer base, deliver related services to clients and develop succession plans for key staff. Your highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, an open communication style, while living the values are essential.
