Derivatives Documentation Negotiator - Hong Kong

Leading US Investment Bank has vacancy for an experienced derivatives documentation specialist within their Hong Kong based team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and negotiate master agreements (and any related credit support arrangements) with institutional clients (including hedge funds, mutual funds, insurance companies, etc.).
• Review and analyze legal documentation to determine capacity and authority to purchase specific issuances or engage in OTC traded products.
• Develop and maintain client and service provider relationships, co-ordinate with other risk management areas of the division and the firm.
• Support sales and trading as well as confirmation specialists with respect to non-standard transaction documentation (interest rate swaps, credit derivatives, FX, repos, bond options, etc.).
• Review term sheets.
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures and systems. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Korean would be highly regarded.
• Good team player.
• Experience with equity derivatives and ISDA documentation is a plus.
• Experience with securities lending and repurchase transactions is a plus.
• A law degree is advantageous.
• Solid quantitative skills and strong interest in business, economics and law.
• Willingness to work in dynamic trading floor environment.
• Proficiency and interest in technology and systems development.
• Organized, detail-oriented and self-sufficient.
