Project Manager

    Definition: Project Manage Systems Integration and/or IT Infrastructure projects.
     
    Accountabilities;

    • Successful delivery of the project(s)/contract(s) under their control:
      • On-time.
      • Financials match or better the authorised Costing Model.
      • Customer satisfaction with work performed.
    • Effective utilisation of staff assigned to their projects.
    • Adherence to all relevant elements of the Logica Quality System.
    • Completion of assignment statements and performance reviews for all staff assigned to their projects.
    • Preparation of accurate project estimates.
    • Support of Corporate initiatives.
    • Management of proposals and tender responses.
    • Management of vendor relationships.
    • Incremental increase in business with existing customers.
    • Assisting Sales staff with development of new business.

    Objectives / Deliverables;

    • Completion of projects within estimates stated in the authorised Costing Model.
    • Management of Customer satisfaction to a level that achieves referrals.
    • Project staff performance reviews completed within 2 weeks of:
      • project completion for projects > $50,000, or
      • anniversary of assignment to a service contract.
    • Identify training needs of staff assigned to projects.
    • Timesheets for staff assigned to the project completed weekly.

     

    Key Skills;

    • Degree, preferably in IT or Engineering.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) accreditation strongly preferred.
    • Extensive background in IT or Engineering ????? ????? track record in successfully managing projects to budget and timeframes.
    • Experience in managing a team of 10+ staff.
    • Previous experience working for a service/solutions provider strongly preferred.
    • Experience in estimating IT projects and proposal / Tender preparation.
    • Experience in Vendor and Client Management.
    • Experience in directly managing financial aspects of projects.
