Located within Council’s Development and Environmental Services Division, this position is responsible for implementing, monitoring ????? ????? community based public and environmental health strategies and to effectively manage, maintain and enforce the regulatory requirements of relevant legislation to enable the Council to meet its statutory and strategic public and environmental health obligations.
The successful applicant will have approved tertiary qualifications for appointment as an Environmental Health Officer coupled with the following;
- An understanding of public health and environmental management principles and practices;
- a proactive, professional approach;
- well developed communication and negotiation skills; and
- a willingness to contribute within a team environment.
