General Hand/Cleaner

 

Our client, a world leading designer and manufacturer of aluminium vessels is currently looking for an experienced General Hand/Cleaner to join their team at this busy workshop south of the river.

Reporting to the Site Services Manager, this position is offered on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work and yard areas are kept clean and clear
• Assist trades people as required
• Provide assistance during ????? ?????, mooring, loading and departure of vessels
• Operation of overhead cranes and basic slinging practices
• Manage scrap and recycling requirements

You will be a safety focused individual who enjoys working within a team. Your ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines will assist you greatly in this role.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years in a cleaning/labouring ????? ?????
• A stable work history
• Drivers Licence
• Physically fit

With added benefits such as a finishing at 12pm on Friday and opportunities for career development, this role will be filled quickly. With a 6am start, this role will be more suited to candidates living in the Rockingham area.
