IT Application Support Analyst
Operating in the Australian refrigerated food market for over 40 years, Swire Cold Storage is the largest national provider of temperature controlled supply chain services. The successful candidate will be responsible for first line IT support, predominately for in-house systems.
Primary accountabilities of the position are:
- to provide help desk support for all National systems;
- develop and maintain user guides and training and system documentation;
- data extraction and analysis;
- desk test developed code to internal testing standards;
- assist operations staff in user acceptance testing and train where necessary;
- assist in analysis of functional development of in-house systems; and
- assist in creating in-house software change specifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- a high level of initiative and attention to detail;
- a dedicated approach to customer service;
- a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines;
- drivers license and own vehicle
Preference will be given to applicants with:
- general PC hardware, MS Office, AS400 and EDI Mapping knowledge;
- some exposure to systems support for software functionality (Help Desk)
