Calibration Technician

 

Contract Position 6 to 9 Months

Experience within a NATA Calibration Laboratory

Enthusiastic Hands On and Committed Technician

Our client, Power Parameters, based in West Heildberg, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced NATA certified calibration technician to join their service team. This Australian owned business has an ongoing commitment to excellence in ongoing technical service in the electrical and electronics fields within their laboratory and to their customers. Due to continued growth, this progressive and professional company has an opportunity for an enthusiastic “hands on” calibration technician to join their dedicated team in a contract position for a six to nine month period with opportunity for full time work at the completion of the contract.

Responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:

-          To perform appropriate calibration to designated equipment

-          To produce appropriate written reports

-          Keep required records and assist with customer quotations

-          Build rapport with customers and staff

-          Review and file calibration reports

-          Be familiar with Laboratory Quality Systems

-          Ensure all tests / methods are as per NATA Laboratory procedures

The ideal candidate will have completed a certificate of technology or equivalent, have a strong background in electronic servicing, be a good communicator and ideally Quality Management Systems experience. This position requires a high level of technical, verbal and written communication skills including computer knowledge.  Your background could include SECV, Utilities, Defence or Manufacturing ????? ?????.
