BILINGUAL COMMUNITY CARE WORKERS / ASSISTANTS IN NURSING

 

Co.As.It. is seeking part time Community Aged Care Workers and Assistants in Nursing to assist older Italian Australians in their own homes to maintain their independence. Applicants will be required to undertake a functional pre-employment assessment and police record check. Assistance with the attainment of Certificate III in Home and Community Care will be offered to successful applicants. 

Duties: Provision of support and care to older Italian Australians, provision of assistance with meal preparation, respite care, social outings, transport, shopping, light housework, personal care.

 Selection Criteria:

·         Demonstrated commitment to working with older people

·         Fluency in Italian or Spanish

·         Experience in aged care or disability

·         Commitment to ongoing training

·         Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable car
