An opportunity to join our supportive team on a full time basis has arisen. We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who is dynamic and reliable with a confident and friendly nature.
We are committed to furthering the education of all team members. We are a fully computerised practice so a high level of computer skill is essential and experience in a dental program would be an advantage. We are a practice that offers a range of services in addition to general dentistry, including treatments under IV sedation, general anaesthesia and orthodontics.
The successful applicant will have a professional manner and good communication skills, be well-presented and available for an immediate start.
You will succeed in this role because you:
- have a long term commitment to a Dental Assistant role,
- have knowledge of sterilisation procedures,
- are able to manage the logistics of dental equipment and instrument requirements,
- have knowledge of supplies, equipment, services ordering and inventory control,
- have an understanding of health and safety requirements,
- have a sound knowledge of the dental industry,
- have exceptional organisation and communication skills,
- demonstrate well rounded interpersonal skills,
- are a motivated individual and have initiative,
- have immaculate presentation and etiquette;
- qualification Cert III in Dental Assisting is an advantage.
