We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified (or near qualified graduate) Building Inspector to join our team of professionals at our Greensborough office.
You will have sound communication skills, and be capable of satisfying the diverse and demanding needs of the building industry.
As a Building Inspector you will:
· Undertake building inspections to ensure compliance with Building Permit endorsed plans
· Liaise with and provide advice to architects, builders, draftspersons, owner builders and ratepayers
· Interpret and implement relevant Acts and Regulations
· Supervise and assist the Assistant Building Surveyors in the building application process
· Represent Council at developers/architects meetings
· Assist clients with their technical enquiries by telephone and in person
