Planning Engineer

We are currently looking for a Planning Engineer with extensive scheduling experience to join this global company with diversified commodities at this prominent underground site in Western Australia's Goldfields region.

Reporting through to the Senior Long Term Planning Engineer, this newly created role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Long Term Strategic Planning
  • Supporting the Senior Long Term Planning Engineer in the development and implementation mine planning activities
  • Annual Planning
  • Supporting and assisting colleagues in the development and implementation of the annual budget
  • Quarterly & Short Term Planning
  • Coordinating the development and implementation of integrated rolling 3-month plans across all departments
  • Supporting the department heads, and their planning designates, to develop and implement integrated weekly plans
  • Execute planning projects as tasked by the Senior Long Term Planning Engineer.
  • Supporting the Senior Long Term Planning Engineer in the development and implementation of assigned continuous improvement projects, including development and review of operating procedures.
  • Promoting safety leadership and a positive safety culture through behaviour and awareness
  • Liaising with and monitoring ????? ?????, suppliers and business partners

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • Vulcan and iGannt Competency
  • Current Senior First Aid.
  • Mine Workers Health Surveillance Certificate
  • A minimum of 3 years experience on a mine site (preferably in an underground environment)

The general feeling on site is very positive, you'll find both the permanent staff and contractors are very happy to be there and as a result the environment is a great place to call ????? ????? "home away from home". The camp facilities are excellent….On site you'll find en-suited rooms, fully equipped gym, cinema room, outdoor sporting activities, swimming pool and much more.

The roster is 9 days on 5 days off and there is an all weather airstrip on site. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated at interview stage and will be based on your level of experience.
