We have an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly experienced Geology Manager in a residential position. The company is focused on maximising opportunities within their existing landholding and have recently approved a significant budget to complete drilling in/around their existing mines.

This position, Senior Exploration Geologist, will be given responsibility for the generation or targets, planning of drilling activities and execution of field-work. You will be provided with a generous budget and, in conjunction with the Geology Manager, will ensure that all near-mine opportunities are exploited. The position will involve the supervision of a small exploration team and will take a lead role in coordinating & managing the drilling contractors. Your ability to collate geological data, interpret these results and assist in building detailed resource models will be a key technical component to this position.

The role is only being offered on a residential basis and will suit those looking for a site/roster that allows you to be home each night. It will also require the following:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Geology
• Experience in managing field programmes, including the supervision of small teams
• Willingness to play and active role in exploration work and assist with rig supervision etc when required.
• Strong computer literacy, including the ability to generate geological models

This is a full-time position that will provide relocation assistance where required. It is also provides a fantastic opportunity to play a major part in the advancement of a mid-tier company.
