The client is a Queensland owned and operated mid-tier contractor that has an outstanding reputation for constructing complex concrete structures across Queensland for over 20 years. The scope of projects will include Bridges, Roads, Commercial Building Structures, Water Structures, Pavements and all associated Drainage & Earthworks.
At present the company are experiencing a period of growth which the owners believe is due to repeat business from the long lasting and strong relationships with Governments, Councils and Private Clients across Queensland.
Due to the steady growth of their order books for structures and bridge projects, the client is looking to increase their construction team. They are currently looking to appoint a Piling Manager to work on various projects around Queensland.
The successful candidates will ideally have:
- At least 10 years experience managing the installation of foundations for civil structures
- Experience working on government projects, such as Queensland Rail, Dept Main Roads, RTA, VicRoads, etc
- Preferably with a Civil Engineering ????? ????? in Construction
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing direct multiple projects
- Ability to push and drive a project to complete on time and to budget
- Local knowledge of the Queensland market will be highly desirable
- Be able to work around the South East Queensland region and open to travelling to regional areas if required
You will also need to have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and a proven ability to utilise resources effectively and within budget. This position requires that you are an innovative problem solver with the ability to identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective action.
