Our Client a successful manufacturing company are seeking a temp to work for 4 weeks.
You will be an experienced Payroll Officer who can work with high volume payroll in a team environment.
Skills and Responsibilities include:
- Providing high levels of service to clients – assist with enquiries, concerns and issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics and maintaining payroll control records
- Processing Workers Compensation , Superannuation , Health Insurance and Child Support payments
- Adapt and implement changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll
- Recording new or changed pay rates in payroll register or computer files
- Interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures
- Review payroll to ensure accuracy – Examine work for accuracy and execute problem solving where required
- Ability to read and interpret award documents, certified agreements and individual contracts
