This high profile manufacturer is internationally renowned for the style and quality of its products. Following consolidation and restructure the role of Cost Accountant has now been created.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the manufacturing team, this hands on role really gets into the nuts and bolts of the production process. Responsibilities will include -

• Product costing
• Extensive analysis of overheads, materials, labour etc
• Investigating and resolving of costing variances
• Monthly costing/inventory analysis performance reports 
• Making recommendations to the production team to improve efficiencies
• Assisting with inventory control

As a qualified Accountant with extensive costing experience, you will have proven communication skills to liaise with all levels of staff within the business. You will enjoy working with a very varied team and have a proactive approach. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Cost Accountant who will be heavily involved in the production process and driving the business forwards.
