Our client is a recognised industry leader and an iconic business within the Gold Coast region. They are a highly successful service based company whom operate in national and international markets. With a number of divisions within the company, this role will be part of the succession plan for the corporate head office.

As the Senior Financial Accountant reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Statutory reporting for two divisions
• Monthly management reporting pack
• Analysis and related commentary
• Annual budget preparation
• Preparation for external audit
• Supervision of divisional accounts staff

.
To be successful in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience of managing a small team. You will have strong reporting skills and a good all round technical knowledge. The ability to work within a team is critical as are solid communication skills, particularly when liaising with your staff and senior management. As this role is part of the overall succession plan, ambition and the will to succeed is essential as promotion is planned within 12 months.
