Financial Controller
Travel and tourism industry
Reporting directly to CEO
$120,000 package
Our client is well known within the travel and tourism industry for their high quality products and superior service levels. There Australian head office is based on the Gold Coast with a global head office in the US.
Working closely with the Australian Chief Executive Officer and a dotted line to the head office Chief Financial Officer, this newly created role of Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial management of a $40m turnover business.
Your day to day responsibilities will include -
- Month end reporting both locally and to the US
- Development of improved management pack
- ASIC reporting
- Preparation for audit
- Cashflow forecasting
- Pricing transfers
- Tax compliance
- Supervision of 3 accounts staff
This is a role that can be developed as the company continues to grow and will suit a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with senior management experience. You will ideally have had exposure to working for an overseas entity and the related compliance issues. Excellent communication skills are critical.
