Business Analyst

 

Strong Business Analysis Required

Gold Coast Location

12 month fixed term contract

An opportunity is currently available for a strong Business Analyst to work within a team of 10, you will be provide specialist financial and business analysis reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and review business cases for capital funds
• Provide ongoing analysis of actual performance against 5 - 10 year plans
• Maintain cash flow forecasting and reconciliations to budget on a fortnightly and monthly basis
• Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary, providing advice around new business processes, maintaining key stakeholder relationships and other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Attend and co-ordinate meetings to ensure all relevant matters are discussed and actioned

Ideally you will have substantial experience within a local government and be CA or CPA qualified. As a Senior Business Analyst, you have excellent financial modelling experience with Advanced Excel, Oracle exposure is an advantage.
