An opportunity has arisen for an Environment Scientist to join the Gold Coast Environmental Management team.  Based within the South Queensland Operating Centre, this is a fantastic career opportunity to secure a position within an established, global consultancy.
 
Reporting into the Service Group Manager, this pivotal position will involve establishing and developing strong working relationships both internally and externally to support a diverse range of projects running from small to multi million dollar projects within a multidisciplinary environment.  This role will be key to ensure growth and development of the GHD profile and capability within the environmental field.
 
Bringing your 2 to 5 years experience, the successful application will be in involved in projects typically including road, waste, water, water waste and other community infrastructure projects.  The responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Preparing ????? ?????

  • Undertaking Ecology studies

  • Environmental input to planning, design and construction of infrastructure

  • Environmental monitoring ????? ????? (eg: water quality, noise, dust, odour, etc)

  • Contaminated land management

  • Environmental approvals and permitting

  • Waste management strategy

 As a Consultant you will bring ????? ????? role:
  • Demonstrated skills in client management and success in repeat business 

  • An ability to provide innovative solutions to a diversity of clientele

  • Previous Project Management of environmental jobs delivering ????? ????? and to budget

This key position will require a professional, degree qualified (Environmental Engineer, Environmental Science or related discipline) individual with strong negotiation skills combined with a co-operative teamwork approach.  Working in a project environment you will have knowledge of relevant project management systems and the capacity to juggle a multitude of tasks whilst ensuring ????? ????? is accurate and reporting is completed within strict timeframes.
