Macquarie People are a local Accounting Recruitment firm that has been servicing the Gold Coast for over ten years.
One of our clients is seeking an experienced CA/CPA qualified senior with supervisory experience to step into a manager level role. This medium/large chartered public practice is located in an easily accessible position in the central part of the Gold Coast. They enjoy an enviable reputation within the business community and have a strong and diverse client base.
You will hold a senior position within the organisation and will be afforded the respect and courtesy relevant to your seniority. Training is first class and your skill levels will continue to grow. You will be working closely with one of the senior partners and this role provides a fantastic career path for a motivated professional.

You will be responsible for managing a team of professional staff and the work flow within your sphere of influence. As such, technical knowledge, good organisational skills and an ability to lead are key skills.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS NEEDED
- Degree qualified with a major in accounting
- Minimum 6 to 8 years plus Australian Public practice experience with preferred prior exposure in a supervisory role
- CA/CPA qualified
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- People skills and ability to supervise staff
- Sound technical knowledge
Salary range is very open depending on experience and overall competency and level of ability. It includes a generous base salary plus superannuation, in additon to a very attractive bonus structure.
This role would particularly suit someone who has previous experience working in a Tier 1 or 2 firm.
