GLEN INNES HEALTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE5 Community Positions and 1 Staff position is nowavailable to join the Glen Innes Health AdvisoryCommittee.Local Health Advisory Committees undertake animportant role in local health service provision byproviding advice and input to the local Health ServiceManager on: Health service needs of local communities Development of local Health Service StrategicPlans Local health service deliveryIn addition Advisory Committee members utilisetheir local knowledge and networks to foster two-way communication between the local HealthService and the community on these issues, as wellas population health issues, particularly focusing onwellness.Applications are invited from interested persons witha range of skills and experience in one or more of thefollowing areas. Active interests in health issues affecting the local community. Strong community links and commitment. Good communication skills. Qualifications and / or experience in management, eg. Small business, farming.
