Air Liquide Australia (ALA) now has an opportunity for a Plant Manager to join the team based at the ASU Plant in Gladstone. This is a great opportunity to take that next step in your career and move into a management position.

This position will be responsible for planning and leading the production operations at the Gladstone site. Some of the main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Being responsible for achieving the company’s safety objectives
- Improving the operational efficiency by gathering, analysing and interpreting plant performance data and then implementing improved practices
- Ensuring customer requirements are meet for the supply of products by planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting production activities
- Meeting budget targets for the supply of raw materials and other expenses required to achieve production requirements and managing suppliers
- Review, develop and update procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulation.
The successful candidate must have:
- Instrumentation and/or electrical experience
- Knowledge of PLC and DCS
- Proven project and people management experience
- A solid understanding of safety regulations and requirements
- Excellent communication and strong people skills
- Computer literate
An electrical trade or similar would be an advantage in this position.
This position will be part of the Gladstone on-call roster (approx. every 3 weeks) and travel to ALA customer sites will be required which may require time away from home.
