Our client, a progressive firm located on the coast in Central Queensland in a region that is home to some of the world's most amazing natural attractions and world class industries is seeking to appoint a Professional Development Manager.
With a focus on providing clients with fully integrated accounting and financial service solutions, our and an established reputation for being at the forefront of developing innovative solutions to assist clients in their pursuit of business growth, wealth creation and lifestyle rewards, our client is a leader in its field.
In this exciting role, embedded within the management team, you will develop close relationships with every team member to develop their skills and knowledge in order to deliver cutting edge products and services for our clients. A large part of your role will involve mentoring ????? ????? young accountants in order to ensure their practice reflects industry best practice. If desired you will also have opportunities to do some in-practice work.
The role demands a resourceful team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills, who has the ability to think laterally and commercially.
This position will involve:
- Providing training and professional development to our team, encompassing processes, procedures and technical content;
- Embracing and promoting our firm, our culture, and accountancy as a career of choice;
- Reviewing financial statements and income tax returns to ensure that high quality and standards are maintained;
- Co-ordinating and facilitating training sessions individually and in groups;
- Development of products and services to meet the needs of our clients;
- Taking a proactive role in the future growth of our business as part of our management team.
Our client would prefer someone CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years business services experience, however will also consider someone similarly qualified from another profession. Of course, you must be a dynamic team player who strives for success and who enjoys a challenge. Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal are a must, along with an ability to lead, manage and motivate a team and to influence change.
