Position Description

 

This position requires the applicant to be adept in all aspects of landscape maintenance. You will be required to work underneath the project manager and at times supervise a small team of employees to complete maintenance activities to a high standard. The work is on a variety of sites, both commercial and residential. The head office is based at Gladesville and most of the work sites are in the Norwest / Western areas of Sydney. The successful applicant must be comfortable using a ride on lawn mower, towing a trailer and have a good driving record. The applicant must be fit, reliable and honest.

 

Experience and Training

 

·        Broad knowledge of all aspects of landscape maintenance

·        Experience within the landscape maintenance industry (4 years minimum)

·        Experience as a site supervisor or 2IC (1 year minimum)

·        Broad knowledge of plant species and their requirements

 

Qualifications

 

·        Certificate 3 in Horticulture (or close to completion)

·        Current NSW drivers license (Preferably MR license)

·        Chemical application license

·        Valid and Current OH&S Greencard
