SMEC Urban’s Planning team has extensive experience and brings together a range of technical skills to achieve innovative strategic and statutory planning outcomes. They pride themselves on their ability to think outside the square to ensure clients receive timely approvals and well-researched planning advice. Due to steady growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a hardworking and dedicated Senior Town Planner to join in their success. On appointment to this position, you will play a key role in working with key local Councils and State government departments to provide clients with networks for efficient planning and development approvals. To be successful, you will demonstrate experience in managing strategic and statutory planning projects, client management and appearing ????? ????? panels and VCAT. You will possess a thorough understanding of urban planning concepts including experience with complex planning issues and their resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a high achiever who is enthusiastic, demonstrates a strong commitment to client service and willingness to continually learn. You will enjoy being an integral component of a team of professionals and also demonstrate the ability to produce a high standard of work autonomously. You will be tertiary qualified in planning with ideally at least 5 years Victorian experience working in the private or public sector.
