Located in East Gippsland, this well respected local authority is dedicated to the growth and development of the area. To ensure the accounting team remains well coordinated and functioning in a timely and accurate manner they require an experienced Senior Accountant who is hands on and progressive.
 
Leading a small team of accounting professionals, and working closely with the finance manager you will be responsible for the financial management of various functions for the organisation. This will include the preparation of financial reports, including the annual financial statements and review and maintenance of the budget.
 
You will add value to this organisation with your demonstrated experience in a range of financial accounting disciplines and previous exposure to change management. Your exceptional people skills and ability to supervise staff with a range of experience will see you excel in this role.
