We are currently looking for a Subdivision/Development Engineer to join a regional council East of Melbourne. You will be joining an existing team initially on a contract basis with the view to go permanent.  
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
• Participate with planning enquiries and review infrastructure designs with a particular emphasis on drainage and road issues.
  
• Work closely and to consult with council's construction department, stakeholders, local authorities, and the planning team to ensure that council policies and procedures are practiced.  
  
• Assess applications in accordance with relevant State and Council policies and procedure and suggest improvements when necessary.
  
• To provide a high level of customer service to all parties involved in the subdivision approvals process.
  
  
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Town Planning or Surveying or a related field with experience in statutory planning and/or subdivisions is highly advantageous. With professional communication skills and the ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently you will be highly considered.
