Situated in the outer West of Melbourne, this growing local municipality is seeking a statutory planner to fill an immediate contract. With a guaranteed 3 months of work, this council has recently experienced significant growth in their workload.
 
Offering ????? ????? workload you will receive a variety of applications including residential, commercial and rural, ranging from small scale extensions to large residential subdivisions. You will be required to assess and process applications, produce concise and well written reports, answer enquiries and provide advice to applicants both over the phone and at the service counter. You may also be required to prepare submissions for VCAT.
 
To be suitable for this position you will possess a tertiary qualification in Town Planning and have previous experience working as a statutory planner ideally within a local government department. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, fantastic customer service skills, and be hard working and highly motivated.
