We are currently seeking an experienced IT Security & Risk Manager for an established organisation in Geelong. The role requires the successful candidate to split their time between the Geelong and Melbourne operations, but will mainly be based from the Geelong office.

You will be responsible for leading the security and risk management function ensuring ????? ????? and risk compliance, processes, policies and systems are established, implemented and maintained.

This role is to ensure that IT security policies, processes and mechanisms in place are regularly assessed, developed and improved to minimise IT security risk to the organisation. In the area of risk management, the role will be responsible for establishing a risk management strategy along with identifying mechanisms for adherence. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an IT risk register, influencing and advising the organisation on matters of IT risk management.

Candidates with the following skills and experience will be considered for this role:

• A solid IT security & Risk management background
• CISSP, CISM or SABSA certification or equivalent
• Experience in operational risk management / internal audit.

Candidates that have a proven track record in, negotiation and stakeholder management, strong leadership skills, excellent communication ability: both written and verbal and consider themselves an all round team player.
