Pivotal senior role in Finance Team

Due to career progression, an opportunity has arisen to join this large Geelong-based organisation in a Senior Manager Risk & Assurance position. Under the general direction of the Executive Manager of Finance, you will have the responsibility for ensuring ????? ????? management framework and related audit plans are managed efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
• Manage all aspects of operations of the team of Risk and Quality Co-ordinators, including resource allocation, staff training and development, to provide efficient and effective delivery of risk management and internal audit and assurance services.
• Coordinate the internal audit plan activities and assist the liaison with the appointed internal audit firm (externally appointed firm).
• Coordinate risk management assessments and risk mitigation process.
• Prepare reports containing comprehensive Quality Improvement findings and recommendations, whilst promoting and educating staff on the importance of incorporating quality decision-making in service delivery.
• Provide administrative support for Audit & Risk Management Committee.
• Maintenance of contract and tender register.

You will have excellent communication, organisational, analytical and negotiation skills. With previous experience in risk management you will also demonstrate a sound understanding of the practices and principles and ERM framework.
