Audio Visual Technician

 

To cater for continued business growth and expansion, our Customer Care Team is

seeking a customer and career focused Audio Visual Technician based at our Fortitude Valley Head Office. 

 

You will provide phone and on-site support services in accordance with the conditions of Videopro Customer Care Plans as well as providing on-site maintenance services. Additionally you will coordinate Customer Care activities with our project installations and sales teams and attend project hand-over meetings as requested. 

 

You will require:

  

·          Drive, energy and enthusiasm to deliver excellent customer outcomes

·          A desire to learn and embrace new technologies 

·          An ability to effectively fault-find and rectify system and equipment problems

·          Excellent soldering ????? ????? a refined understanding of termination protocols

·          Excellent communication skills

·          Strong interpersonal and team building skills

·          An understanding and appreciation of WH&S and environmental issues

·          A refined appreciation of the requirements of working within prestige properties

·          An ability to work autonomously or within a team

 

Preferably you will have:

 

·          ACMA Open Registration (Cabler Registration) or an undertaking to complete within 90 days of employment

·          An understanding of the requirements for highly functional and reliable audio visual, security and complete home automation systems

·          Some experience in the installation and/or commissioning of a variety of audio visual, audio, lighting, security and network cabling, equipment and control systems
