Our Community Learning and Libraries unit requires a dynamic individual to oversee Branch Services of Footscray Library, and develop adult events and programs across the Maribyrnong City Council library service.
Tertiary qualified in Librarianship with eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association, your community focused approach to service delivery and well developed supervisory skills will be vital to this position. The role will be further extended by your ability to organise adult programs across the library service through excellent planning, and high-level communication skills.
A sound understanding of and commitment to the role of public library service delivery to culturally and linguistically diverse communities is essential. In addition you will possess well developed problem solving, interpersonal and decision making skills.
