Due to increased business demands a role has arisen for an experienced Senior Long Term Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant to use their extensive open cut mining experience to advantage and join our far north-western Queensland mining site.
The Role:
The role will see you take on long term maintenance planning responsibilities. You will be briefed to undertake responsibilities for the coordination and planning of 4 x major plant maintenance shutdowns per year. Impact assessments, scheduling and cost estimations will also be a key part of your role and will contribute to the lead up of the shutdowns as they occour.
The Candidate:
It will be expected that the successful candidate will possess experience in a similar role in a complex environment where regular site maintenance shutdowns occour. Your ability to be able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders together with your superior organisational and planning skills will be key components to landing this role. It will be expected that the successful candidate will have diploma level qualifications in a Maintenance Engineering ????? ????? discipline, Project Management qualifications with trade qualifications also looked upon as being favourable.
Being located in a remote location you will be provided with onsite accommodation, meal services together with gym and sporting facilities. There is an active 5/2 FIFO roster in place from your base option of Townsville, Mount Isa or Gulf Community Centres. A competitive salary inclusive of base salary, site allowance and superannuation will also form part of your remuneration makeup.
