Producing in excess of 75 Million tonnes of coal per year across a over 25 Australian & International Mines, this world leading exporter of thermal coal has become an employer of choice for mining professionals.

With a recent increase in production this new position has been created to provide production planning assistance to the Superintendent. Acting as the central link between the operational and technical services team you will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring ????? ????? investigations, corrective actions & corrective implementation actions are managed and enforced with HSEC Standards.
• Assisting the Production Superintendent for project and production focused tasks.
• Ensuring ????? ????? Plans are effectively reinforced to the team leaders.
• Assist in the identification of potential problems with the plan, developing contingency options and discussing with the Technical Services & Superintendent in a timely manner.
• Managing the labour requirements are sufficient to reach production plans.
• Managing and facilitating projects as directed that will result in cost savings for the business.

We are looking for coal mining professional who have strong planning, production and operational experience. A current NSW/QLD OCE ticket is essential to this role with the expectation that you will step into an OCE's position on a rotating relief basis.

You will also demonstrate a high level of integrity with previous leadership skills. Expertise in mine planning & computer based scheduling would be highly desirable along with a mature personality that will build strong relationships and drive individuals performance to achieve common goals.
